Hello Debbie just reading your note about your husbands condition, i am sorry to hear about it and i wish you well, i was in a car accident two year ago and there was kidney damage to my left kidney a heamatoma was found. i was 33 years old at the time and just retired from basketball. After the accident i was taken to the hospital via ambulance in in the ambulance my blood pressure was recorded at 230/130 i was asked did i have hypertension and i said no she said maybe i was nervous, i have since been diagnosed with hypertension and i am on medication, i live in Sydney Australia and i am going to court over my accidnet trying to recieve some sort of retribution, as of late they have never heard of kidney damage and hypertesion here in Austarlia so you can only imagine the problems i am having trying to prove my case. I have lived here for 6 years and i am never sick so i don't go to the doctor, the only normal bp test are from 6 years ago when i moved here to Australia and they say that i might have gotten hypertension inbetween the times. I am 6'6 113 kilos / 217lbs kind of slender build always athletic, my mother has hypertension she got it at a old age so they are trying to say i inherited it can you please help me find out more info on this kidney damage/ hypertesion problem if so can you please send me your doctors name or ephrologist you are seeing at present maybe i can get some correspondence back from either of them to help shed some light on this matter. Thanks Heaps Hypertention Down Under
