My wife has been a victim of MS for well over 25/30 years now. Age 61. Now a bedpatient. Tube feeding is just around the corner---tube was installed in December. I am desparately seeking non-commercial websites dealing specifically with the feeding of these patients,(by people who have "been there"---using the "tummy tube" and food "slurry". Nutritional tables, etc. Please email me if you have anything specific. We are veterans in this war---now facing what may well be the final battle. Advice---we're on Social Security Disability. Your best bet is to see a doctor SPECIALIZING in this field (multiple sclerosis)---he knows which hoops to jump through to catch the government's attention. He's been there before!! Advice from the MS Society is extremely helpful too----they can line you up with a doctor who actually cares !!!If you have any answers please email me. Daily time is limited, cannot guarantee lengthy answers.
