The Endometriosis Assn. has been valuable in sharing information and costs nothing to join. You can do that through theInternet. Endometriosis goes back 4 generations in my family. I had a Hysterectomy at 40 because of it. My poor daughter has a very severe case of it. She has had 6 laser surgeries, been on every type of medication regime. It has affected her uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, ureters, bladder and intestines. She is 26. Amazingly she got pregnant. Her pregnancy was complicated by all the adhesions from the surgeries, but she and her husband are just weeks away from having a baby boy. Just after she became pregnant, she started coughing up blood. After much testing, it was determined that she had pulmonary endometriosis. So now it is in the lungs. This is rare. If anyone has any information about successful treatment for this please respond. We just found out that there is a support group for this also. Thank you
