My daughter had a Febrile Seizure when she was 18 months old with a temp that spiked to 104 and quit breathing on her own for a minute or two, her seizures last about 20 minutes. Her eyes were rolled to the left and she didn't respond to us for about 30 minutes and would keep sliding back into this state for about 1 hour. That was the most terrifying day of my life. The Drs. at the emergency room told me it probably would not happen again, but I still get nervous when she starts to run a fever and try to get Tylenol in her right away. She just turned 3 on April 3 and thank God she is a very intelligent, active, healthy child.
