This is not a new disease. This is older than dirt. It is pasted orally through fecal tanted food or water. It's a bacteria that can neutralize the acids in our stomach and make it through to our lining where is lives. It is very hard to eradicate. I've been diagnosed with it 2 weeks ago and I'm taking a triple therapy (Prevpac) for 14 days. H pylori is also associated with alot of stomach cancers which you need not worry your about at this point. This bacteria must be eradicated from your stomach so you need to go and see a gastrointenstinal doctor. Hope I spelled that correctly. They will do an endoscopy of your stomach and an accurate diagnose of this bug. I'm depressed from this crap too. I hope you find some comfort, good luck, Abbie
