I've had stomach problems as long as I can remember. I was 18 when my gullbladder was removed. I've had surgery for reflux disease,which didn't help much. There were more side effects then anything positive from it. Now, a week ago I was told that I have H-pylori. The Dr. in urgent care has made an issue out of this. She said this can be very serious and that I need to checked for progression. Everything I've read is bleek. I guess I want to know how serious of a condition this really is. I have so many simptoms: pain in my stomach, bowel urgency, hot flashes, anxitiety, depression, dizziness, confusion and this has been going on for years. I've been treated for each one with tempory sucess. This disease is so new, what kind of test should I request. It took a emergency Dr. to take a test for h-pylori?
