I don't have an answer to post but have a similar problem with my daughter who has started burping/hiccuping over the last two weeks sometimes at night somtimes in the morning or arvo lasting for sometimes 3hrs at a time. She has the ability to exaggerate the condition and this has led to her paediatrician thinking that this is some kind of tic that she is displaying. I'm not sure what to think,l would be interseted to know of answers that you have received. regards maureen
