Chris, Well my daughter was diagnosed with CP when she was about 6 months old. We knew something wasn't right when she was about 3 months old. Other children were looking around and smiling and being active when our daughter would just lay there and do nothing. When we carried or held her it was like holding a sack of potatoes, she had no firmness to her body. We knew something was wrong but we didn't know what untl time when on. She is now almost two years old and cannot walk. She didn't sit until she was about 8-9 months old, didn't crawl until 16 months old. She has Quadrapelegia cp, which all four limbs are affected. She struggles daily to do the simple things. She cannot talk, cannot walk, I stongly suggest you seek therapy for her. My daughter has been recieving therapy since she was about 5 months old and it has helped alot. Also they connect you to all the right resources you will need, the pediatrician's don't seem to be much help in that deparment. If I can be any help drop me a line and I will help out as much as I can. Don't let it get you down too muc, we have our good and bad days, just remember that's your child and love them no matter what! :) Kim
