My wife has viloent hiccups for an hour or two following eating. She is 32 and has had this all of her life. The Hiccups are two - six per hour in frequency. The Hiccups are very loud and will turn heads on anyone that does not know her within 20 feet. When she Hiccups, stomach fluid will burn her esophagus and cause mild discomfort. I have asked her to seek medical advice and she asked a doctor 20 years back and he had no advice. Please let me know of anyone suffering a similar problem and if they have had medical treatment and the results. Thanks. Robert Curtis
