I am 35 years old and was diagnosed with Meniere's in 1994. It came on all of the sudden, I lost most of my hearing in my right ear within months. i have tried low salt diets, diuretics, steriods, changing my life style. Nothing has helped, I have a two year old daughter and I just hate not knowing when I will have an episode of vertigo, it is really scary. I am hoping to have a procedure soon that will leave me with complete heaaring loss in my right ear but it sure beats living not knowing when an attack will occur. Currently I am taking Valium and Phenergan every day I still have attacks but they are mild and I don't have vomiting or spinning just dizziness. I will let you know what happens.
