I have also been a victim of much higher insurance premiums due to this disease. I think mostly it is just misinformation. I do not show any major signs of the illness, only high billyrubin. My insurance carrier would not give a straight answer, not even when I was taking the physical. I am 23 and I am tabled at the premium rate of a 50 year old.. Everything else is fine.
