Your message brought tears to my eyes. I guess I've been fortunate in that I didn't have to go through this during childhood or my teen years. Like you said, the years are hard enough as it is. Two of my siblings; however, were not as fortunate. They began lossing their hair in high school. My first experience was about 6 years ago, but the two small patches of hair loss grew back. Now at age 37, I've lost almost 1/2 of my hair and have my moments of emotional distress. But, I also have tried to look at it on the bright side. I am an otherwise healthy young woman and can work, run, play, etc. so I give God thanks for the blessings I do have.
