I was diagnosed w/cerebral ataxia several years ago. I was told by the specialist that there is no medicine for this. I did have a round of physical therapy to help with balance, but gave that up after a time. I have symptoms of unsteady balance, feelings of disorientation at times, food gets caught in my throat from time to time. Can you tell me if there are any meds now available for this condition? Also, special diet. I really need to go back for evaluation, but I have to decide on a doctor I'd like to see. Thanks in advance for any info you'd care to provide. Marie
