Ebola is hard to contract. Only if you come into direct contact with the bodily fluids of a person who is infected with the Ebola virus and is already symptomatic can you catch it.
Ebola doesn't travel through the air. A person in New York can't catch Ebola from an Ebola-infected person in Dallas without going to Dallas and coming into direct contact with the patient's bodily fluids.
So, you will be fine if you do not come in to direct contact with the bodily fluids of a person who is infected with the Ebola virus and is already symptomatic.
