My mom had primary biliary cirrhosis. I am 51 years old and for the past few years I have been havind dull pain in my right side back at my rib cage and also at the front. The pain can come and go and sometimes last for hours. It is enough to get on my nerves. I have had gallbladder studies and they have came by normal. I do not have any nausea. Sometimes I get a dull headache. Aslo after eating ffods cooked with peanut oil, I have diarrhea within an hour. My face and chest also gets very red many times. I am concerned I may have this same disease as my mother. Any ideas? The pain is like a dull gnawing pain. I do not like to take any aspirin or pain meds so I usually just tolerate it. Sometimes it wakes me up from my sleep. Thanks.
