Keeping a Depression and Anxiety Diary yourself is a simple and worthwhile thing to do, although most people resist it because writing is hard work, especially if you are depressed. I know it can be painful to write about depression and anxiety, but it can be a help you if you try!
My doctor had originally suggested that I keep a diary and I have found that it is a most effective form of self-help. If you do it in regularly and you can work through your resistance, a diary can be very helpful!
If you really don't like to write, use a mini-cassette recorder and record your thoughts.
