Please if anyone can offer some advice do so now!!! I am a very, very clean person, I mean I am very careful when it comes to hand washing and keeping a clean house. In January of this year a pinworm infection first reared it's ugly head in my household. My Husband and I and our 2 little babies have been tormented by these things for 6 months. We have done the treatments, and washed all the infected clothing, wet mopped and vacumed, and wiped their toys down, and cut their nails, all to no avail. I am just depressed that this thing is so common, and no one seems to know it's origin and why it likes human guts so much. I have had several allergic reactions from these things for quite some time, and a severe case of hives. It seems as if people do not discuss this common little nasty infection, as I am told it affects all walks of life, young and old, the clean and the unclean. I am hoping you reading this will change that for me. What worked for you. I am going to the doctor yet again tonight, and my whole family will be treated again!!! Can pinworms become resistant to the antibiotics?
