Hi Cheryl. I also have and have had ic for about 7 years maybe longer. I am on elmiron and have had 3 bladder stretches so far. I was feeling pretty good but the last stretch I had was last April and the effects are gone now. I am back in a bad flare up and the doctor said that she doesn't know the effects of continually stretching the bladder. So she put me on a drug at bedtime which is a antidepressant but is supposed to help with pain too. I just went on the site this morning to research a bit more and read this page about alternative drugs to help with this. I am willing to try if it will help. Could you please let me know exactly what you are taking and how much. I feel like I am all alone with this suffering. Thank you. Janice Newman
