Dear Breant I have been suffering with TOS sence December of 1995 when the syntomes staarted, I have sevear bracia breacal plasic TOS on both sides. I suffer every day I have like you tryed everthing that was sugested from cortazone shots in my spine, all types of physical thearpy, I had surgerey on bouth sides despret for relife I prayed that it would work. I had the first rib on bouthsides removed a muschel that is attached to the rib going up the neck was removed on my left side I had to have the sweat glan removed it was tangled in something. I cant tell you if it made anything better. there are days when it feels like the first layer of skin was removed and someone put a fire under it. There are days when I think I might go crasey and then there are days even though I am in pain it is minabel and I am so geratful for any day that the burning stops. The numbness the times when I cant get my hands to to work the way I want. when I get hot because I dont sweat on the left side the right side works twice as hard to cool down it feels like I am cooking from the inside out,the circulation on the left side is also damaged ane it can be 90 degrees and my hand feels like it is freezing.the burning in my wrists,for arms and elbows and outher symptyoms are daily and I dream of some mirical cure I have to belive that or I would go crazey. I dont know what to tell you as far as what to do but I also have to belive that the surgerys I had were the right thing to do . The longer I waited to have the surgeryes the worse things got. I was told that I could loose the use of my hands. My injuries wrer the result of a job. I was a sewing machine operator working pease work and the constant repetive movement damaged all five nurves on both sides. I hope that you are not as far gone as I am take care listen to your doctor but if you are not comfortabel with what he or she say dont hesatate to get a second opion.
