I was diagnosed with PMR in 2002 and have suffered excrusiating pain ever since. The prednisone dose that I was put on was totally intolerable and had to be discontinued. The pain came back worse than before. I cannot take Prednisone in any dose without serious side effects. I am so very tired of being in so much pain and being so stiff. I am now taking Percoset with some relief that is temporary. The worst is waking up at night all sweaty and in awful pain. I feel totally abandoned by the medical profession.
