My husband went into the hospital due to chest pains. A few days later they had him do a ct scan and found a large blood clot on his right lung, it is as big as his fist. They are treating it by thinning his blood which it will help it disolve. My question is: What are the risk of it returning and how will this effect the rest of his life?
