My daughter just found out she has a blood clot (large). about a week-two weeks ago she did a triathalon this happened to her in the fall also. (second blood clot)I was wondering if there is any information out there that I can find regarding others having this problem too. I thought I read something about the blood thickening because of the trama that the body is put through and it is not too uncommon. I was wondering if there is anything a person can do to prevent them as I have two sons that are going to be doing triathalons in July. ANy help would really be appreciated. Thank you.
