Hello my name is Irene, on February 26 my daughter had antibiotics for an ear infection, that night she woke me up you could see alot of red blood when she urinated, and it burnt as well. The culture did not grow. 2 weeks later she had another EAR infection and the blood was still in urine from before, her back started hurting really bad and she has headaches. Then the 8th of april was first time blood had not been in urine since Feb. 27. The very next day she was screaming that she had pain urinating went back to the dr., and she had blood in her urine again along with 2 knots on her head, which was suppose to be from a virus called fifth disease that requires no antibiotics. which she has had multiple urinalysis that have shown the blood and high protein,also they mention she has a low c4 which I don't know what that is. Two drs have mentioned iga neuropathy which I have never heard of and the c4 I ask questions but at times I feel I am more confused than before I started. Can somebody direct me to some reading material or explain a little more about this, also they think the burning which they say is not typical with Igan they believe is related to something else maybe in her diet. Does any one have the symptoms her poor little back hurts so bad she said it is worse to lay down and that the tylenol or motrin does not help. PLease help if you can she is 8.
