I am from Malaysia. My achondroplastic daughter has gone through 3 bone lengthening surgery. This surgery has resulted in a lot of complications and and unwanted surgery like breaking the bone again bcause it has fused fast. Lengthening the archilles tendon because she had a foot drop. The surgery has caused a permanent thick scar . Now the hip bone has come out slightly and she complains of pain . she trips when she walks. Is there any other treatment. Please advice. All she wants is to have normal height.
