I had cellulitis about 3 mos ago and I am still suffering from residual effects on my right lower leg. Most of the pain involves my heel and ankle. Some of it is orthopaedic in nature, but some of the pain seems to be related to neuro. My leg will turn red and itch when I stand or left dangling when sitting after some time. I am unable to walk normally from leg pain. Usually it is just sore while on it, but sometimes I also get stabbing or shooting pain in this area. I wonder if this is normal after cellulitis and what I can expect.
