My 2 1/2 year old daughter is being tested for this cyclic neutropenia. The only symptoms she really has is fever exactly every 3 weeks and she just started at times complaining of her stomach hurting. Like others, I have searched the web looking for information. I saw to about the leukemia. What are the chances of that? What are chances of it being cyclic neutropenia? I along with my husband are not aware of this disorder in our families. If it does turn out to be cycstic neutropenia will she have to take medication for the rest of her life. The big question is, is cyclic neutropenia a life threatening disorder that could end up in death? This is a very scary illness for somebody who knows nothing about it to go through. If you know anything that is helpful or could possibly put a parents mind at rest please, I would really appreciate it.
