Thanks to everyone who has posted a message. The more information I find, the better off I am. The doctor doesn't tell you what to do...I am wondering if having had gallbladder surgery was the right thing to do...although it runs in my family. I feel worse too since having the surgery. My body makes the strangest noises. I was prepared to have to have a low fat diet, but you really have to stick to that strictly. I had the surgery because of the stones and they said if I wanted to get pregnant it would be the best thing to do...actually three doctors agreed with that but I still wonder. I agree with the people who said that the joy of eating is gone...I feel you have to eat smaller amounts to allow the body to digest the food...in fact it is just not pleasurable to eat a regular meal...I find I have a lot more acid reflux now...I feel my body won't tolerate the food as well. So I feel that adjustments are needed in order to make it work...I am after reading some of the postings concerned about possible weight gain...gee it is not one thing it is another. Good luck to everyone.
