I keep getting hot spots and sometimes just warm spots in my left outer thigh, hip and calf of my leg. It is not painful but something is very definitely happening. The heat spots leave after a minute or two but I am wondering whether this is something I should be concerned about. By spots, I mean a large area -- almost my entire left outer thigh area gets very warm -- like a wave of heat -- sticks around for a minute or two and then leaves. A couple hours later, I get the same feeling in my calf of the left leg. Sometimes it is just warm -- other times it feels actually hot. Once I thought I was sitting next to a hot coal. A friend told me that this sounds like a blood clot. What do you think? How concerned, if at all, should I be???? Thanks Much!
