i'm having trouble getting detailed imformation on how to change her diet. Deirdra is prescribed liquid zantac, but as soon as she stops taking it, she starts spitting/throwing up again. i am only a step-mom,and with this issue i am up against a very important and largely controling grandmother and biological mother, so things must be done as to not "threaten" anyone, make it their ideas. i am happy for my kids to have so many people to dote over them, but i've suggested keeping a diary for her to try to pinpoint some of the trigger factors, especially because the easy "kid" food nowadays have labels the size of a small country. but i'm not at those houses with her, and i'm the only one who has even suggested it, not, for example, Deirdra's biological mother or doctor. if someone else did it would already be being argued about, can anyone relate? there IS a lot of "love" around, don't get me wrong, but my only option is to educate Deirdra, the six year old, as to what makes her FEEL better, especially because my instincts have proven me right-she doesn't throw up when i feed her!!PLEEZ---any info., examples, stories---anything would be graciously accepted!!thx-Dan the concerned fan
