Hello. I had my gall bladder removed last Monday 7/19. I am only 32 years old an have had the pain off and on for 10 years. I finally couldn't take the pain anymore after have eaten fried shrimp and crab cakes. I saw the doctor and he said it was time for my gall bladder to go. I was scared I would never be able to eat again. Of course the first 2 days I stuck to all liquids. The 3rd day I had to have a grilled cheese. Nothing happened. Last night I had a chiken & bacon melt from Subway. So far so good. Of course I'm still sore and swollen some from the surgery but foods don't seem to bother me. I'm still not brave enough to try hot & spicy foods. Am I one of the lucky ones or am I fooling myself and will have problems later?
