THERE IS NOTHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT. I JUST HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN AND IT RESULTED IN A MINOR PROCEDURE IN THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE THAT TOOK A TOTAL OF 10 MINUTES FROM THE MINUTE THE DOCTOR WALKED IN THE OFFICE AND LEFT. ITS CALLED CRYO AND ALL THE DO IS INSERT NITROUS OXIDE FOR THE MINUTES TO FREEZE AND KILL THE INFECTED AREA. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAD THIS DONE. THE FIRST WAS 13 YEARS AGO AND I HAD THE SAME PROCEDURE DONE ALONG WITH LASER SURGERY AS AN OUT-PATIENT IN THE HOSPITAL. YOU WILL PROBABLY BE PRONE TO THIS SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTINUE GETTING PAP SMEARS ON A REGULAR BASIS. WORST CASE SENERIO IS A HYSTIRECTOMY [NOT SURE OF THE SPELLING] BUT FROM WHAT YOUR SAYING YOUR CASE IS A MILD CASE.
