Dear Bethany. I am a 47 year old woman who has taken zoloft for years. 4 years ago I started having problems with missed cycles and then after two years of no periods thought I had gone through menopause. After forgeting to take my zoloft and then just not taking it any more (say two to three months) I am now having what I believe could be post menopausual bleeding. However I am not so sure because I to started missing them after taking 200 mg of zoloft for some time. So I am going to the Doc Monday, but I have read that amenorrea is a rare side effect of the zoloft. Who knew. So I will check it out could be serious or perhaps maybe it was not menopause at all but the Zoloft.
