The Ortho states the pain over my left hip bone is trochanteric bursitis. Fell in a 5' hole at night, but recall fully recovering, but now have the bursitis. Basically pain over the outside aspect of my hip very close to my hip bone process. Had the pain for at least six months through two x-rays, two injections, one MRI. The pain really affects my concentration when I am in front of the computer. It hurts if I sit upright too long or if I walk\stand too long. Should I get a bursectomy or not?
