When I had my gallbladder removed a year and a half ago, I had no real pain -- didn't even have to take one pain pill! My daughter, who is 19, had hers out yesterday, and she has been suffering. I think her pain tolerance must be lower than mine was -- I've had 3 kids -- she hasn't. Hang in there -- it will get better!
