I had my gall bladder out a year ago. My gall stone was a little bigger than yours, though, and my gall bladder was badly infected. My stone was about 4 centimeters and caused me considerable pain, so I am glad to be rid of it. I have had no after-surgery problems whatsoever. But I do take milk thistle and dandelion root capsules for my liver, because with the gall bladder gone now it puts extra work on the liver. I know others have had problems after surgery but I have had none, so I myself would recommend surgery. I also suggest you talk indepth to your doctor. I had a GREAT one!
