I had my gall bladder removed 14 months ago,at the age of 20. For a year pre-op I was diagnosted as having panic attacks. I finally refused to leave the ER one night until they did an ultrasound of my stomach- where they found my gall bladder chalked full of stones! I was told my gall bladder was diseased also and HAD to come out. I am sill having problems. For starters, I have many explosive, loose, mucus filled stools each day. I am vey gassy and I still get the "attack" pains quite often. I have severe abdominal pain and headaches each day. I have lost 15 pounds since the op (had a child 12 mos ago!) I weigh less than before I had him! I am so weak and tired everyday and now just this month I have noticed patechie- small red dots on my lower legs with sever hip and joint pain in the feet and legs (unrelated?) My doc keeps saying its normal and won't do any tests. He tells me to continue on Amodium AD- which doesn't work and says on the box not to take for extended periods of time! Its been over a year! Nobody will help or listen to me. I have lost my lifestyle. I no longer go out to eat and college and work are so difficult to get through each day- embarrasing! I can't do this much longer, please help!
