regulate movements..eg..same time every day....go when you feel gas..or feeling pressure to move....drink lots of liquids..eg..water, juices (apple, orange, fruit juices)...eat bran, oats, veggies (raw or cooked), fruits, regulate consumption of food..eg..time, quality of food, small amount.....relax...relax...relax!!!! practice having good thoughts in the john (smile)....deep breathing helps to relax..... i suffered a long time....i use this method to keep symptoms to a minimum....now i don't break into a sweat when i have to go.....lol....oh least i forget...prayer
