Help from anyone that has had or is having this problem would be really appreciated. I live in South Africa and was a Professional Snooker Player and Pool player, I am 42 years old and over the past 2 years have developed what appears to be writers cramp. I visited a Psychiatrist and I have been prescribed 2mg Akineton 3 times a day and 2mg Valium 1 per day at night, it has helped a little. My problem is that when I bend over to play a shot there is a build up of pressure in the brain and it seems that my brain will not allow my arm to go through and I end up freezing. As a national champion in 2002 I desperately need some help from anyone who has experienced this as here in South Africa it is difficult to find any one to talk to about it. I have been advised to go to a nurologist. Any advice would be really appreciated. It seems to be simular to the YIPS in Golf. God Bless.
