Hi scared...I didn't know there was anything wrong with my gall bladder untill I went to emergency last Sunday night and had to have surgery. THey put me on vicodin when I left the hpsital Thursday. I didn't react well to vicodin and it made me an emotional wreck for a day with tons of pain still. They switched me to davoset and I take two to override the pain. don't be afraid. The pain is very real and also the cramping pain that comes after I eat. I was told to eat anything but a low fat diet is best. Well I had a piece of pumpkin pie last night and spent the night in agony. I am not sure what hurt so bad. fear can build from pain and then it turns into a cycle. Walking and using the breathing thing helps more than anything.
