I am 25 years old and scheduled to have my tonsils taken out and tissue taken out of my nose due to sleep apnea and reoccuring tonsilitis and strep throat. I am terrified to have this done because i have heard so many bad things about this surgery. I heard that it's worse than childbirth and you can't even swallow your own spit. Anyone who has had this done, please write me back and be honest on how it is. I have also heard that it just feels like a bad sore throat. If that's true, then i can deal with it. I just want to hear anyone's experience with this surgery, good or bad. Thanks
