Joy
I am 33 years old and have been suffering from severe constant headaches for the past 6 months. I have been to an Internist, Ophthalmologist, ENT, Dentist, Oral Surgeon, Neurologist, Vascular Surgeon, Rheumatologist, ENT (a different one) and a Hematologist. Normal pain medicine does not work for my headaches, I am currently taking Neurontin and Topomax for the pain but they only help me sleep, they don’t take the pain away. I have an abnormal sedrate that has gone up every time I have had a blood test, also for the first time ever I am slightly anemic. I was thought to have temporal arteritis, but I had a negative biopsy. I have had a MRI, MRA temporal artery biopsy, more doctors visits then I want to discuss and abnormal blood tests but still no diagnosis. I am a diabetic but I am in great control A1C of 5.8 and blood pressure is normal. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don’t know how much longer I can take it!
