Most likely she has Interstitial Cystitis (IC) (or however you spell cystitis). Do an internet search--there is lots out there on this. She NEEDS a good UROLOGIST. Many Ob/GYNS do not understand IC, but I have it it is very much under control. First, not every Urologist is experienced with IC. Get one that is experienced. Call every urologist to find the one you feel will be the best. There are procedures they will perform to make the determination. There are drugs to minimize the urination. There is therapy to retrain the bladder. And, there are support groups out there. FIRST, get a doctor that spends 50-60% of his time treating IC patients. That is your BEST bet or you will not get the proper treatment. A big part of this is diet. Stay away from Acid foods, as much as possible as a rule and COMPLETELY during flare ups.
