My son was born on the 50th percentile for weight and height. Since then he has fallen off the charts for noth - now below the charts for height and sitting on the 3rd for weight. His albumin count decreases a little each year - starting from 33 - to 32 - 31 and last months test is 30. He eats alot of cheese, pasta, chicken, snadwiches, strawberries and tomatoes - so we do not think it is protein deficiency. What else could cause low albumin levels - and would it effect his ability to grow???
