hello: must drink PLENTY of fluids, eg. water, fruit juices (orange, apple, grape)...must cut back on heavy meats...sometimes beef causes back up problems....eat smaller portions...exercise...less breads, cakes...eat foods with plenty fiber. vegetables & fruits should be main consumption...& by all means when you have to go...GO! not going could cause back up...this could lead to diverticular disease & worse....good luck ... YAHWEH be with you....
