if constipaion is your only side effect, try psyllium seed husks &/or flax seeds. I buy mine at a health food store and semi-pulverize the flax seeds in my small coffee grinder. I use l/2 tsp. psyllium seed husks & l full tsp. flax each morning. I put them on my cereal. The psyllium emulsifies or kind of gels the milk so you might want to use extra milk. To be safe ask your Dr. and hope- fully he will be health food conscious. By the way, I will be 72 this July and never have a problem with regularity. Good luck to you.
