Yes. I relate. I was told by my doctor that I have a "depressed immune system". When you stop laughing at that - (I did anyway) - it makes sense. If you are depressed or have an autoimmune disease such as chronic fatigue etc. your body is constantly fighting to get to "normal" and with all this fighting if you get a cold or flu or something it's much harder to fight off than someone with a "normal" immune system. I hope this makes sense and helps a little. One piece of advice is to try alternative things during this time (provided your dr. approves)- I take a ton of vitamins, electolyte supplements and was advised to take SAM-E for all over "foggy- dull" feelings that often accompany this. Noni juice (spelling ?) has also helped me personally - very much - although some people donot believe me. General good nutrition, TLC and sleep is your best defense for now.
