I am two months out from having spinal fusion at the L4-L5. I seemed to be doing pretty good after surgery. However, I am getting pain in my lower back again. Doctor says this is normal from inflamation. I am worried that it will keep getting worse. However, It's alot better than before surgery and I am able to sit and walk briskly. There is no limitation to my walking. In this respect surgery was very successful. I am just worried that it will get worse. Is there anybody out there that has had successful fusions that can tell me if pain is normal after two months? Thanks. If anybody wants to email me please do. I will always respond. The problem I am finding is that there is no real support out there for people with this surgery. I would eventually like to organize a support group for all of us to chat. Thanks
