Two years ago my left ear felt "clogged" and at times I couldn't hear well. The family doctor had me set up an appointment for a hearing test (it was booked for about 4 months later). Sometime before the test, I mentioned to my dr. that I had a lot of post-nasal drip (phlegm). It was very annoying. Anyway, she prescribed a nasal spray (Nasocort) and within days the p.n. drip and the ear problem cleared up. I cancelled the hearing test.
