New info on this because now two of my children have had this procedure. My older one (26) has had her shunt tied off, and had the new procedure last year. My son (17) has had this done when he was 13 and is now considered free from problems and is had very good results. Hope that I can help other parents trying to make good decisions in regards to all the considerations that come with Hydrocephalus.
