You can get a negative lyme test even if you have lymes disease. Just like you can get a negative lupus test even if you have lupus. With lyme, if you are on certain meds, you will get a false negative test. Also the blood test that you seem to be getting is looking for the antibiodies to lyme which you might not have. There are other tests for lyme too; western blot is one. If your doctor is not helping you, find another doctor that is willing to find out what is wrong and work with you. I had lyme for 5 years before I got a positive test so I have permanent damage from it and I call it chronic lymes disease. There is a website called lyme alliance that is very knowledgeable. I hope you find some answers soon and God Bless.
